2018- Second year final major project
These photographs are the foundational works for my working title 'Among my souvenirs'.
My aim was to explore a collection of undeveloped 35mm films which i'd discovered document a middle class family with a child perspective of the domestic life and an inspiring mother of three. As the films were shot during the early 90's to the mid 2000's the project led me to discover my personal history and moments of my life that I have no recollection of and how we require visual aid to remember. From here I'd focused on the topic of archival history and memory, Inspired by artists and thinkers such as: Walter Benjamin, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Trish Morrissey and Kimberly A.Wade.
